My review. I wanted to use this software to customize mt laptop's keyboard. It seems that it doesn't have the buttons for the function key or other keys typical for laptops.

I didnt get the latest version of the product (v1.5) and it has a little glicht. I will download latest version and see. GUI is very friendly. easy to configured

The application is working without any problems. The feature of adding and using hotkeys is very usefull during everyday job. However the application did not find some of the hotkeys defined by producent software which I wanted to remove.

The application does exactly what I needed. Very simple to set up.Great tool!

An excellent program that has allowed me to do effortlessly what I have always said I will do: set up shortcuts to \'run the office\' from the keyboard. Highly recommended.

I wanted to perform \'paste text\' insertions and HotKeyz works OK - after I figured out how to do this. The s/w has so many features that explaining each one is tedious and users can get lost in the exlpanations.

Some of the options aren't apparent but all in all a great time saving tool.

Just downloaded this software - used to use another product for the task but recently upgraded to windows 7 - however, this seems to be a fine product, so far, does everything I wanted and more - another \"learning curve\" oh well

This works great! One tip: I had to go into the settings and uncheck the \"Turn Monitor On when mouse is moved\" box, otherwise the slightest movement of my mouse turned the monitor back on a again. This is not a problem, as you can easily turn on the monitor with ctrl-alt-del and then close the dialog box as described in the instructions.

Turn Off Monitor is a handy software since Windows 7 Power Option is no longer allowing monitor to turn off while running programs; Not to mention the benefit of energy saving and protecting monitor from burning out. For anyone who has to routinely run programs overnight, this software would be an ideal choice. Besides, it provides options and flexibilities to accommodate individual needs. I would say it is a tool for a simple function but with clever design.

I love the product. What I am missing is a way to keep the monitor turned off even if I touch the keyboard. I am a blind user and some times would like to turn the screen off just by making sure no one can see what I am doing. So if there is a way to implement a feature where you could turn the monitor off and then back on again by a hotkey instead of just touching the kieyboatrd, it would be wonderful.

it doesn't work with skype. However, I can lock the monitor and it will then turn the monitor off and leave it off.

Very easy-to-use program. It helped me determine whether it was my router or cable modem that was occasionally disconnecting by pinging both my modem and various sites on the internet at the same time.

My internet connection (Comcast) was going up and down for months. I kept a log but I only had data from when I was actually at the computer. I ran the EMCO ping monitor 24/7 and got the documentation of outages to help convince Comcast to replace the wiring from the pole to my house and I have been up solid for almost a week! Thanks!

Very handy utility. Exactly what I was looking for to document my connectivity problems to ISP.

Nice utility, however I was looking to monitor several hosts at the same time, and as far as I can see this can only monitor one.
